Jesus’ Last Words

The night that Jesus was to be betrayed, He got on his knees and washed his disciples feet. He showed His disciples what it was to be like as a servant to all; He confirming His Covenant with them afterwards. Jesus begin to speak the last words that He would ever speak to them in a human form. Jesus looked into their eyes knowing this would be the last time He would speak these important last words to them in His humanity. He had teached them for a lengthy period of time; we don’t know exactly how long, but if you look in the book of John, chapters 14, 15 and 16, there He devotes His last words to them before going to the cross. He would never speak to them like this in a human form again.

So what did Jesus say? He told him to go out and make disciples, to baptize, to share with others what he had talked, and to show all the signs, wonders and miracles. He also told them to go to Jerusalem and wait for the promise that He would send in His name so that they may have power to do what he had done. And now we as the church have that same power that Jesus bestowed upon His disciples, to go out and make disciples, to heal the sick, lay hands on those to received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Therein lies our power, the same power that He gave His disciples.

It is by His blood, and by His redemptive work on the cross, and by His name that we have the power to do as the disciples did in the early church. There is nothing more relevant in today’s society in the fulfillment of the power of the Holy Spirit, the blood of Jesus Christ, and the power of Jesus name. We have authority in Jesus name to do what He has called us to do. As we read the Word of God and apply it to our lives and share with others the impart Spirit of God that we have inside of us too others, we fulfill the Last Commandment that Christ left on this Earth in a human form. He didn’t want no one to pay the price that can’t be paid by any man today, When we listen to those that are around us, we become afraid, scared and worried, but if we are willing to still listen to the Still Small Voice of Jesus who will guide us through to the power that He gave us. All we have to do is claim our Authority in the name of Jesus by the blood of the Lamb. And if the Holy Spirit of God be for us who can be against us? There’s no demon in hell, no man on this Earth that we could fear because God is for us. He paid it all up on the cross. Remember, today the Word of God lets us know that anything we ask in the name of Jesus, according to His will, He is well capable and able to take care of every need we may have.

I want you to know that God loves you, God is for you and He is with you. He will never leave you or forsake you no matter what you’re going through, even in the darkest of the storms, Jesus Is Right by your side. Hold on to His unchanging hand and know that He loves you with an unconditional love. I pray this is as a blessing to you and that it encourages you to hold on to God no matter what the circumstance, no matter what it looks like. God has you in the palm of his hand and He loves you.

God bless you in Jesus name.
